Dear Valued Customer,
West Valley Water District (WVWD) is committed to supplying our customers with safe, high quality, and reliable water. To ensure we continue to provide excellent water services, the District will be installing waterlines located in your service area beginning August 2019 through January 2020.
We will be installing pipelines, fire hydrants, and new services in the following areas:
- Locust Ave. to Linden Ave
- 10th St. – Locust Ave. to Linden Ave.
- 9th St. – Locust to Linden (North side of the street only)
The existing meters and waterlines are located at the rear of your property within alleyways. Since their installation decades ago, new construction has limited West Valley Water District’s ability to read meters, locate shut off valves, and perform regular and emergency maintenance. Installing new meters and waterlines at the front of your property will enable the District to respond to issues and conduct maintenance safely, quickly, and efficiently.
We realize that this construction may cause temporary inconveniences to those living nearby; however, we intend to make every effort to minimize the impacts of this project on our customers. During construction, no water service interruptions are expected.
The District would like to thank you for your understanding as we continue to improve our water systems. Should you have any questions regarding this project, please contact Project Manager Rosa M. Gutierrez, P.E. Senior Engineer at (909) 875-1322 ext. 327.
Sincerely,
West Valley Water District
