Angela Garcia

Angela Garcia joined the West Valley Water District (WVWD) Board of Directors in January of 2022. She represents Division 1 that includes the communities of Fontana, Bloomington, as well as portions of unincorporated San Bernardino County and Jurupa Valley in Riverside County.
In addition to her duties as a WVWD director, Garcia serves on the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Environmental Justice Advisory Group and Inter-Agency Task Force and is a Licensed Professional Geologist. Ms. Garcia is employed by the California Environmental Protection Agency, Colorado River Basin Regional Water Quality Control Board. She supervises a team of professional geologist, engineers and scientist who oversees the investigation and cleanup of soil & groundwater.
Director Garcia holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geology with an emphasis in environmental hydrogeology from California State University Fullerton and California State University Los Angeles respectively.
Director Garcia is married and has two children and is passionate about improving water reliability and promoting water conservation and education. As a Director, she works to ensure that WVWD honors its mission to provide ratepayers with clean, safe and reliable water.
