Engineering

The Engineering Team plays a crucial role in designing, constructing and planning for the current and future needs of the District’s customers.  The Department is tasked with identifying the facilities needed to support growth and those needed to maintain and enhance the water system infrastructure for our existing customers.

Operations

The WVWD Operations Department is responsible for the day-to-day fulfillment of WVWD’s core mission: providing customers with safe, high-quality and reliable water at a reasonable rate and in a sustainable manner. The department oversees production, water quality, water treatment and water transmission and distribution.

Customer Service 

The WVWD Customer Service Department manages customer accounts for the over 100,000 residents and customers in the District’s service area, responding to questions about billing, maintenance and other important needs.

The WVWD Human Resources and Risk Management Department serves as a strategic partner with the District's Departments and provides responsive professional services in attracting, developing and retaining a high performing workforce.

The WVWD Finance Department manages financial operations with a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility, accountability and transparency. The department manages the organization’s resources and oversees the accounting and billing department.

The Purchasing Department is responsible for carrying out the Purchasing Policy, soliciting formal and informal bids, maintaining inventory, managing facilities contracts, processing requisitions and managing purchase orders.
