Internal Committees
West Valley Water District has four employee driven committees who are dedicated to making the District a fun and safe place to work in. Each committee is described below with a list of the members. Committee members will serve a one-year term commencing the beginning of the calendar year. Depending on staffs’ interest in participation, some members may continue as committee members for a longer period. If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact Haydee.
Wellness Committee
The Wellness Committee plans events that contribute to the health and wellness of staff. Collaborates on ideas to plan events for staff members to participate and enjoy. Meets monthly.

Special Events Committee
The Special Events Committee plans events throughout the year such as the annual picnic, Winter retreat, potlucks etc. Meets monthly.

Employee of the Month Committee
The Employee of the Month Committee reviews and discusses nominations that are submitted and selects the employee. Meets monthly

Safety Committee
The Safety Committee reviews and discusses the safety trends of the District (i.e., required inspections of buildings, review incident reports and determines how to address trends and reduce risks, review safety policies and ensure that we are complying with Cal OSHA requirements). Meets quarterly
