About 

West Valley Water District's Creek Mobile is a mobile hydration van that delivers free, refreshing, high-quality tap water to community events throughout our service area. Designed to promote hydration, sustainability, and water education, The Creek Mobile provides an environmentally friendly alternative to single-use bottled water while helping residents learn more about their local water supply.

Creek Mobile

Booking Guidelines and Information 

To be considered for The Creek Mobile, events must meet the following requirements:

Event Requirements

  • Events must take place in WVWD's service area or service cities. (map link).
  • Bookings are not guaranteed and are dependent on the Van and staff availability.
  • Event should provide a community benefit and align with the District's outreach goals and sponsorship policy. To read more visit: wvwd.org/sponsorships
  • The Creek Mobile should provide water for drinking purposes only.
  • Requests should be submitted at least 4-6 weeks before the event date.
  • The event must have a minimum expected attendance of 400 people.
  • The event must be a minimum of four hours in duration, a maximum of six hours. If your event is going to run for more than one day, please contact WVWD to discuss it.
  • Events must be non-profit community events open to the public.

Site Requirements

  • The set-up site must be accessible by a paved roadway or hard surface capable of supporting the weight of the vehicle and with adequate height clearance of 12 feet or greater.
  • The set-up site must be a minimum of 35 feet by 20 feet to serve water to customers.
  • Access to the set-up site must be provided a minimum of 1 hour prior to the event.
  • The Van requires unrestricted entry/exit access and cannot be immediately surrounded or otherwise obstructed to allow sufficient set-up space and uninhibited exiting in the event of an emergency.

Event Organizer Responsibilities                                                          

  • Notify West Valley Water District immediately of any event changes, cancellations, or schedule modifications.
  • Event organizers may be held responsible for damage caused to the vehicle during the event.
  • No advertising, or commercial material, is to be placed on, or attached to, the Van.
  • The event operator will be liable for any damage caused to the Van while being located at the event.
  • Event organizers should publicize that attendees can bring reusable water bottles.

Please note, in the event of an emergency or inclement weather, The Creek Mobile may become unavailable at short notice or may be removed from the event prior to the event’s completion.
